Granting centre stage to manufactures from the engineering and food and drink industries, Manufactured Yorkshire hosted key opinion leaders sharing their knowledge and expertise across every aspect of running and growing a manufacturing business. The programme was one of the highest standard in the market and a huge accolade for Yorkshire. Organisers were keen to communicate exclusivity for the manufacturing industry with UKTI, The Manufacturing Advisory Service and Welcome to Yorkshire all supporting as partners.
The Engine Room were proud to not only be given the opportunity to create the new brand for Manufactured Yorkshire, including the website and brochure, but be a part of the programme and exhibitor line up. Our Brand Strategy Director, Lesley Gulliver, co-hosted two seminars across both days: Design Thinking for Manufacturers and Food Manufacturing Brand Transformation. She presented alongside two of our clients from the manufacturing sectors - Andrew Sutulic from Polyseam and Rupert Parsons from Womersley Foods.
Over the two-day show, we spoke to a multitude of business owners, directors and managers about the day-to-day challenges they face in their sector. We gathered our findings visually and will be publishing them in a report aimed to highlight the role that an effective design strategy can play in overcoming these challenges.
We’d like to thank everyone who came along, particularly Andrew and Rupert, who took the time out to deliver such useful seminars.
We would also like to send a big congratulations to our two prize draw winners who have bagged themselves a brand new pair of Converse All Star Red!
