Impact Futures Group

Brand strategy for sector leadership.

Brand Project Overview

Impact Futures is a national training provider specialising in apprenticeships and skills training for businesses in the care sector. It’s sister businesses The Childcare Company and First Response First Aid are also specialists.

With equity backing, they had ambitious growth plans to expand their reach. Their mission is to give Britain the skills to care - to be the learning provider of choice for Britain’s critical service sectors.

Working in partnership with CHC – Marketing for Business & Education and Fallen Leaf Web Design. The Engine Room was appointed to deliver a brand strategy that would enable the clarity required for rapid growth.

Key Challenges Uncovered

A visually disparate collection of businesses focusing on similar, but different markets
An unclear customer proposition.
A ‘me too’ market dominated by generalisation when the audience wants specialists.

Brand Strategy

Giving Britain the skills to care through a clear group structure with a single focus - delivering the best workplace training to the care sectors.

Impact Futures Group brings brands together under a shared purpose and principles, allowing the group brands to express individual personalities targeted at specific audiences.

Impact Futures Brand Strategy

Brand Identity

New name and visual identity for Impact Futures Group with a purpose to 'Create life-changing training and skills for the people that change lives'. The visual identity positions the group as an established market leader. The addition of 'Impact yellow' in the colour palette works as a subtle visual link across the group 'child' brands by adopting it in their own brand palettes.

Working with the in-house design team, and in partnership with CHC – Marketing for Business & Education, we designed brand guidelines and templates, plus a brand new website built by Fallen Leaf Web Design including integration with their CRM.

The project also included a new proposition and visual identity for Impact Futures, rebranded as tend.

"CHC – Marketing for Business and Education supported us through the rebrand from Impact Futures to Tend and helped us put the right brand structure in place for future growth.

They carried out deep research into our clients and the sectors we operate in, which directly shaped the brand, messaging and tone of voice.

They established Impact Futures Group at the top, with a clear house of brands model, giving us a strong framework as we grow both organically and through acquisition.

CHC – Marketing for Business and Education and The Engine Room led the strategic work, whilst The Engine Room brought the brand to life through the proposition, identity and tone of voice, and Fallen Leaf built and developed the websites, including integration with our CRM.

A flexible, thoughtful team who genuinely understood our market and where we are heading."
